I have a 2010 Ford Explorer sport trac 4.0. There’s about 140,000 miles on it. I got it about 10,000 miles ago and it never really had any hesitation until recently. So I went ahead and did a full complete tuneup, including fuel filter as well. Changed out the air filter, cleaned out the throttlebody, cleaned the MAF sensor, I made sure to gap the spark plug correctly, new coil pack and cables, oil change and fuel cleaner. There’s no cracks or holes in the air filter housing going to the throttle body. For whatever reason I’m still getting a slight hesitation while just cruising at about 1500 rpm’s and when I need to accelerate a little from the 1500 rpm’s. It comes back when I’m steady doing about 70 mph as well. I’m stuck on what it may be and what to do. If anyone has any suggestions, I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
