I have a 99 explorer 4 wheel drive and when I'm on a smooth straight road my car makes a clicking, tapping or bumping noise comming from the front passenger wheel at low speeds with the radio down., i think it has something to do with the caliber, tire or maybe roter??; Or some sort of slight rubbing noise dispersing from this area when I drive straight on a smooth road, does any one know or experience anything like this?
I've just ordered new tires. And I plan to buy a set of Monroe Sensatracs to have an STS Auto install them for me. I just got new brakes and I was getting this noise before STS installed the new rotors and pads for me.
I'll ask STS when they install my tires and shocks but..
I'm afriad to of what the ford dealer will tell me if I take it to them. Any suggestions on what this noise is? Maybe CSV ball joints?
Regards
