Followed the threads on this forum concerning the thump you hear when slowing down. Dropped it off at the Ford dealer to grease the slip yoke. The work performed was written up as ... "Removed rear driveshaft and greased slipjoint as per customer request".
After the service I still get the thump and they say you may need a new driveshaft. Am I getting the shaft? Or is there a break-in period after the grease?
