When i put my foot down to move, not to boot it i get about 1.5k increase in revs before there is anyreal movement in the car.. i dont mean the box is kicking down its like clutch slip in a manual for instance. There is no clutch slip that i can notice but it does slid up the counter before it decides to move is this normal? or am i looking at a faulty torque adjuster? I'm not a genius with auto's to be air as this is the first car auto i have had.

Thanks Phil

I believe there is a pedal sensor that delays power to the wheels if it feels that they can not deal with it. That might have something to do with it. You shouldn't be able to lose traction on the road even with foot down as the front wheels kick in.
