Just bought a '95 EB in decent shape, except for the tranny which was totally out when I got it. Did some looking and figured out it might just be the fluid level. 4 quarts later, the truck shifts smoothly, both up & down. The only issue with the tranny is it takes a while to shift into gear. Generally about 3-5 seconds, noticeably longer than other cars I've driven, including another '95 which was to become a donor for this one. Its not a big deal to me, just frustrating at times. I'm concerned this may be a symptom of something much worse to come. No leaks so far, so I'm a bit confused about where the gallon of fluid went. The PO seems like he really liked the truck and it looks like he took good care of it.
Thanks,
Gator
