2000 Explorer sorta
I checked codes last night and came up with......
P0500
P1506
P0443
P0453
P1451
P1401
P1409
P0460
P1000
P0232
P1460

Wondering if any of these might be a cause for lack of power, idles good. Revs great in Park but feels as if its bogging down while driving when you floor it.

Thinking might have tranny issues discussed here, http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/index.php?threads/2000-5-0-4rw70-2wd-issues.448368/

I believe many of the codes are due to James H. not pulling them during my tune. This Explorer engine is in my 1980 Volvo.

I know I have much going on, any direction to start out would be much appreciated.

I have Vol1 and Vol2 FSM for 2000 MY Explorer and only code info is in transmission (that I could find) looks like I need the "electrical" FSM.
Will that have testing procedures for items(sensors etc.) possibly causing codes?

I'd like to give it my best before sending it to a shop.

Unless you have a huge vacuum leak, I doubt the P1506 is your issue. The IAC only controls idle speed. The P1506 could be caused by a dirty or malfunctioning IAC valve or a vacuum leak. Where is your RPM with a warm engine? A 5.0L should idle around 600-650 RPM. This would not explain a loss/lack of power.

A lack of power could be caused by a clogged exhaust/cats.

Yet to convert 6 cyl tach to v8 (twist of a knob-after taking dash a part) so no tach yet, however it seems to idle fine. Maybe a tad high but not objectionable.
Exhaust is new 2.25 (X2) into single 3" no cats, so I am good there. I think it could be the transmission but want to check as much as I can before handing it over to a shop.

Thanks for the reply!
