Well i had bought a brushguard for my 97 but then i crashed it and now im trying to figure out how to mount it on the 99.
the mounts to the frame rails are all good, i had to cut 2 small slits out of the bottom of the bumper cover.
but the mounts that bolt to the bumper where you have to drill a hole dont seem to work.
The bumper on this new explorer is like a 5x4 square box, i dont want to drill into it because i might hit some airbag wires.
anyone got some ideas?
think i can ust drill throught it and use 6 inch bolts?

soo im gonan just drill through it, anyone know if im going to hit some airbag wires?
or does anyone know where they are?

anything?
i really want to put this on but im not sure...

i would look all around where you want to drill, there shouldn't be any wires, unless you have factory fog lights, and they would be more than visible to you,and easy to follow,

i don't see any reason why you can't drill a hole all the way thru that box tube to hold the brushguard,, as long as you don't disfigure the plastic piece that goes over it,

awesome man, thats all i really needed to hear, Thanks alot!
