smoke coming from under hood

So apparently I can't win from loosing.... Yesterday it rained here and I noticed that during the rain my explorer started smoking a little under the hood from the back right side. I figured it was just because it had been raining. I looked under the hood anyway to see if it smelled like anything. There aren't really any burning smells coming from there. and the smoke is coming from behind the windshield washer fluid reservoir. This morning I went to drive again and I noticed the smoke again. by the time I got home it had stopped, but when I did look under the hood I noticed a bit of liquid. It doesn't really have a color to it, I'm not sure if a puddle of water had just splashed there or not. I guess I will have to take a look later after I let it dry a bit.I am going to the garage this week anyway with it, but I was just wondering what your thoughts are.
