I went ahead and ordered new calipers and hoses; I didn’t have an issue until I put new pads on it a few weeks ago. Do you have ABS? I wonder if a problem with the motor could cause this, like its some how not letting the pressure release.
Are you say there could be a problem with an abs sensor? I wondered about that myself. I put new pads on and a different master cylinder off of a 91 that I know works and no change. I will be putting on new soft brake lines today. (hopefully) By the time I get done, my $1300 Explorer is gonna be a $10,000 Explorer
I was thinking more of a problem in the ABS motor, not the sensors. Fluid runs through the motor, I'm wondering if somehow the motor is preventing the brake pressure from fully releasing.
