Snow Tires on a 4X2 ???

Hello all,
I am new to the boards but I've been browsing for a while now. I bought a '03 Explorer Sport XLT a couple of weeks ago.

I'm wondering if snow tires really do any good with around town uphill driving in a 4X2 Sport?

Congrats on the new Sport!!

I assume snow tires would help. Snow tires help on every other 2WD car so why wouldn't it work on the Sport??

they deffinatly will help. i had a 2wd ranger with snows on the rear made a big difference. if u have ABS u need all 4. if not just the rears.
