Iam VERY impress, i had the loudest most annoying pinging in my engine and now after cleaning the maf i heard maybe the very very slighest ping once. I cant believe this!!! it only took this to get rid of it???? I just hope it stays away (knock on wood)...

What did you clean it with? Can I use Break Cleaner? Also, did you break the center part of the torx bolt or get a driver with a whole in the middle?

Brake Clean might work, but I would use something preferred for electrical use. I think Carb Cleaner is too strong and Throttle Body Cleaner isn't good either for it. That's all I got. I think it's been discussed before on here

Well i used Carb cleaner and it seem to do the trick, tho next time i clean it..i dont think i will take the chance with it again, and no I just bought the tamper proof torx bit and they came right off....
