So no Tow Hooks on 2007 Explorer EB?

Going to pick up my new loaded up EB Ex tonight and I had asked to get the employee price on tow hooks if it didn't come with them installed (I had to do the same with my 2003, take out the knock outs, install the hooks myself, no biggie).

The guy at the dealership called today to tell me the truck was in, but that it doesn't have knock outs for tow hooks and you can't get them on any Explorers this year.

Ford decide nobody needed them? I can still use the rear hitch if I need to, but it was nice to be able to see who you were pulling out of a ditch with the front hooks.

The majority of people that buy SUVs don't buy them to use them. Ford doesn't see the need for extra cost to install them especialy when they are so far in the red right now.

Ford closed 5 or 6 dealer ships just in the Kansas City area due to poor sales. Some of the dealers had been in bussiness for 30+ years.
