i'm on my way home from school ,and all of the sudden it starts to stumble and the idle goes to hell, and i don't know how i;m niot stalled yet, it's that bad. really, just outta the blue like that. i creep my way home, and open the hood, don't see anything. i decide to clean my IAC thinking maybe just mabe this will work.

after it dried, i go to put it abck on and outta the corner of my eye i see that one of the spark plug wires is unplugged. plugged it back in, put the IAC on, and it's fine.

don't know how in the world it came unclipped, but now i have a clean IAC and a fine running truck ;)

that's all.

first thing i thought of. but, it would be nearly impossible with my setup. they would ahve had to do it while i was in class for 1 hr. i have a billet grille, and need a special tool that is on my keychain to open the hood. you have to slide it in the grille, push up, basically it's a pain. so that means they would have had to get my door open, pop the hood, get some kinda tool and open the hood, first finding the hood lever, and then pull the plug.

so anotherwards, it's probably caused by the 8 million potholes in ne pennsylvania :D

Someone decided that it would be nice to dump sand in my buddies transmission when he isnt around. Well it didnt work right for a while, and then he discovered this, and changed the fluid and it ran perfectly fine after lol. He told me a while after it happened, i was surprised and still have no idea who did it, but i think my friend knows.

i hate when people pull car pranks  i'd rather them punch me in the face and yell surprise

Yeah, id rather suffer a punch then a shot tranny. Havent had any car pranks pulled on me yet (knocks on wood), if someone did i would be seeking revenge on them!

Not all pranks are that bad. A friend of mine and his coworkers decided to mess with one of their work buddies and his brand new econo-box. Every few days they would add gas to his tank without him knowing about it (this was some time ago). The poor guy was telling everyone, including his coworkers, that he was getting 50-60 MPG in the city with his new car!!! Then of course, one day they simply stopped adding gas. The guy got mad as hell he wasn't getting 60MPG any more. Then, of course, they starting siphoning gas out. Gas mileage plunged to like 10MPG. The poor guy was freaking out, although he wasn't out anything since they didn't siphon out any more than they put in the previous times. I'm told he took it back to the dealer to tell them his mileage dropped for 60MPG to 30MPG to 10MPG. Then, of course, they started adding gas again, jumping is mileage back up to 60MPG from 10MPG. About that time they got caught red-handed and the prank was over. They all shared a beer and got a big laugh out of it.

Thats a good one, got a good laugh out of that. Well thought up!

Just a thought...
I change my spark plugs by going through the wheel well so maybe If your tire was parked at a sharp angle maybe someone could have reached in...

nah, it was the other end of the plug wires thats on top in the engine compartment.

I had that happen after I put my new wires on. Trust me it's a whole different scary thing when your doing 75 down a HW & a spark plug wire comes off.

well, i kinda was. i was going down a HW when i first noticed it and i was doing about 60. it was bucking and stuff like that, i thought that my engine was done the way it was acting. i can't imagine having 2 of the plugs out.
