Like you wouldn't know, I'm new at the forum. And because I'd very much like to loose that *pesky* new-member-reminder-message I'll introduce myself.
Oh, and of course because you're entitled to know the new gal on the block.
I am a woman from the Netherlands, in the more relaxed going part of our little country, in the south. It's remarkable that we're able to differentiate between ourselves coming from the northern or southern provinces of our country as small as it is. Yet we do. Just like you do on a greater scale in the USofA, or so I heard.
I recently purchased my '94 type XLT Explorer, and am in awe of the size. I came to understand that you at the other side of the big pond call it a 'compact MPV' or SUV, and let me tell you: Compact? Well, not to me. I mean wow!
I'm in the process of getting to know my car, I own a Saab cabrio too, and well, there's a distinct difference.
I don't think I'll contribute much to this forum, as I don't have any technical knowledge of cars other than that I have to check the oil and tyre pressure off and on, and turn it in for maintenance at regular intervals.
Well that's about it. Oh. I do have a question, or two, is it possible to fit the car with a remote controlled central locking system? And maybe some sort of ECC or ACC, or what-s-it-called electronical controlled airco system?
Now it's done. Thank you,
Jo-Anne
