'05 XLT 2wd with 81,500 miles. I put a full detail on it...looked like a 30,000 mile car. So, how did I do on price?

I would think you did pretty well on the price you got for it, considering it was only a 2WD vehicle. KBB had the 2005 XLT 4WD Explorer going for between upper $6'K to mid $8'K depending on condition with 96K miles.
