ok i got a 1997 explorer awd 5.0, 4 dr. now my front end looks like they are independent from each other. now is it hard to do a sas. i just basicaly take a front axel of of a jeep and put it in. ok now wood it be better to have coil springs in or leaf springs. i wood asoum coil spring. theres probely a lot more to this but i dont know let me know what you think

I wood put coils in personally, or coilovers. Also I wood search about getting rid of your AWD in place of a transfer case with low range.

ya that is on the list to. i got the speed thing in my case so i wood have to get a 95 and up f150 case with a shifter on it . i am basicly just getting all my $hit together so when i go to do all my projets i will have all the stuff booked marked and ready to go and read them a few times to kinda get it in my head and ask questions ahead of time before i even start

As for axles, read though these 2 links. The first is on Dana 44s and some rear Dana 60/61s, the other is on front Dana 60s.
