SOLVED: 03 Ford Explorer 4.0L - Power windows will not roll up.

Yesterday while debugging an issue with the engine, the power windows quit working.

Found a ground wire in the door frame wire boot that was not properly grounded, regrounded that, still doesnt work.
Took a control box out of our other Explorer and tried it, that doesnt work.
Checked all the fuses in the truck, still nothing.
Disconnected the battery to "reset" the truck, nothing.

The only thing I can think of was that there is a Micro Mechanic plugged into the truck, and an OBDII scanner phone app. We hit "Clear Codes" and that might have had something to do with it?

Any suggestions at this point are greatly appreciated. As to be expected, the door locks still work since on a separate circuit.

Is there any way I can feed power to the windows manually to get them to roll up? I know the motors are not shot in all 4 windows, so this is a power issue or relay, something.

Can I disconnected the arms and push the windows into the up position and rebolt the window arms?

ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE HELP!

I've never tried it, so proceed at your own risk, but you should be able to unplug the switches and supply power to the motors through the wires running to the switch, possibly with a 12v cordless power tool battery or something.

I'm assuming that you have checked all the fuses? If there is a power window relay, you could try swapping another relay to see if the problem moves.

After fixing the boot in the door, I assumed something still had to be wrong with this connection. I made a ground from the drivers door master control box for the power windows directly into the drivers door frame and this fixed the issue. The windows now work. Thank you all for the kind responses.
