Well I noticed my battery "gauge" was sitting pretty far to the low side today so I cleaned up my battery connections of any corrosion so that there is NONE left, well visible atleast, that didnt do anything. I posted in the audio forum about issues with my system , but I am unsure if they are related or not so I wanted to see what everyone has to say.
I had my alt replaced about 2 and half years ago with a 130amp alt, up from the stock 90 amp, because I have so much extra drain on the car with a 1,000,000 cp spot light with dc charger going 24/7, the power supplies for my strobes, wig wags, front and rear deck lights, 200w siren and PA system, and then my stereo setup. I know I should buy a cap for my system but I just havent had any spare money lately with some of my issues going on with my X.
I just replaced my blower motor because my a/c died today as well, works perfect now=). Tomorrow when I do the amp test I should be reading approx 13 amps at the battery while the X is running correct? Also does anyone have a link to the company ( i can't remember the name but it had the word green in it) that makes the higher amp alts? Thanks alot in advance to anyone who can help, Jon
