Ok guys so I took some pics Yesterday at the Meet & Greet. We had over 60 4x4 vehicles there from all over Alaska. I have posted pics on my MSN site Alaska Explorers. Here is the Link 2003 Meet & Greet photos

That's quite a monster. I noticed that most of those other Explorers didn't have factory bumpers. Are you still worried about that law? Interesting fender flares. Are those carbon fiber window deflectors on your sport?

Yes carbon fiber windguards on my Explorer.

After this weekend I am not worried about going with something other than an OEM bumper.

I thought the Old tires cut and used as flares would be of interest. Of the 4 Explorers there, two Sports and two 4 doors we had a 4 door and 2 door with solid axles. No one was locked however, but we had some good discussions.

The last resort recovery vehicle has a website with photos I'll find it and post a link.

It was just outside of Palmer off Buffalo Mine Rd on 23 acres. It was a lot of fun until the rain came and my migraine set in.
