Okay, I just got my sub and amp installed in my explorer, 1 12" RF Punch XLC driven by a 2 channel 280 watt Sony Xplod amp. Now this is good and all but now the problem is i cannot crank it up w/o getting distortion from my door speakers. So now im gonna have to find me a good 4 channel amp for my doors to get it sounding good. DAMN ! I guess now i am looking for some advice on a good ( not too expensive) four channel amp to push my door speakers.

Look on ebay for a Rockford Fosgate 600A4 amp. I have this amp powering some 5.25" components up front, and some Pioneer 5x7's in the back doors. The RF amp pushes 75Wx4 RMS. I really like the way it sounds, it is a lot better than my Clarion CD player sounded when I turned it up. But I wouldn't recommend going to some store and buying this amp, because their prices are extremely high, but on ebay ou can get one for cheap. But also, I would only buy from someone with a somewhat high feedback rating, so you know you will get the item. I think I got mine on ebay for $300, when at stores or a place on line such as crutchfield, they go for somewhere like $500

turn down the bass

Just turn down the bass on the head unit and turn it up on the RF amp. :)
your BD's should improve and with allot better quality!

I just got a Crunch Drive Series V-3004 amp for $120 at onlinecarstereo.com. The shipping was free. I installed the amp and I am currently driving just a set of Pioneer 5x7's with the front two channels. It sounds great. Subs will be added later. The amp is 75x4 RMS. This would be a great amp for 4 door speakers, I'd say definitely worth the money.

I fixed It !!!!!!!

Well i got to messin with my stuff yesterday while washing my explorer and found out that the LOUD function on my Pioneer head unit was on the MID's. I changed it to Low, turned up the LOW Boost on my amp and LOW's down on my head unit and now it sounds sweet ass sweet.

Glad you got it sounding good. I assume your Pioneer headunit is like mine, in that it has 3 loudness settings. A low, mid, and high. This does not mean that on low setting only your low freq. are boosted, and on mid setting only your mids get boosted, and the same with high setting. It's just the level of boost applied to the high and low freq. together. So when the loudness is set to low the low end freq and the high end freq are boosted slightly, then with the mid level loudness they are boosted a little more, and the at the high lever loudness they are boosted to a maximum.

If you are still interested in getting a 4 channel amp Clairion makes a 2 channel amp that can be run at 2 ohms to get 110 watts x 2 RMS, or 55 watts RMS to each of the 4 speakers at 2 ohms. This is a big boost over the Pioneer headunit's 18-22 watts RMS per speaker. http://www.tmselectronics.com has this amp for $150. Best Buy sells it for $230. That's a good savings and TMS has great service.
