yeah, it's definately not a practical subwoofer. but it can extremely low frequencies even at high volumes. in a van inststall, we had to lay down 2" of concrete. the walls were 3" of MDF. and it was braced in 8 places.
i think he bought it just to say he had a 34" titanium sub. it looks really cool, and hits really deep. but not at all practical.
