Hey Folks.
Am new to this forum as I am in need of advise. I have a pristine 96 XLT. Has had nothing electrical done to it ever. Last week the "Sound system" fuse blew. Put in new fuse and it blew instantly. I bought a radio removal tool as I figured the radio was hooped. Unplugged power to radio, put new fuse in and it again blew instantly.
Dont think it is related but passenger side fog light stopped working at roughly the same time.
Has anyone had a similar problem and if so, how was it fixed? I have no idea where to start looking for the problem.
Ive considered running a new power wire to the radio but that might not be quite as easy as I think as CD stacker and Amp both get power from the radio power plug...Really dont want to start Mickey Mousing my electrical.
Thanks in advance for any input
