Sounds like a V8

Hi
I´m from Germany and got some problems-
I want to put another exhaust under my `93 4.0V6.

Here in Germany 2 systems are availeble:
1.Flowtech
2.Dynomax

now my question-which one of those sounds like a V8?
It should`nt be very loud cause in Germany you get many problems with cops or state-organisations if it`s to loud.
How big the are?Should`nt be the same size like stock.

I have had the Dynomax Super Turbo "Hemi" (which I dont think they make in a cat-back system anymore) on my '93 Exp 2-door since '94. I have been really happy with the system. It is not too loud, and gives a nice deep grumble. It does not sound like a V-8 (which is hard to do with a V-6), but does sound much deeper! (*almost* sounds like a V-8 at idle)

Sorry, I have not heard a Flowtech on another Explorer....
I have heard Flowmaster (not as deep a grumble), and Borla (oooooh, nice stainless steel, nice grumble...)

Nice to hear that you never had some problems until yet-hope it geos on!

Get mine back from my Ford-Dealer.Had some problems with the batterie loading.
First the alternator crashed, than the batterie so I decide to let check the electronical system cause I don`t find the problem.And about 7 month ago my automatic gear chrashed to.

But I`m still glade that I bought it.
