spare tire winch install??

So today I was installing my newest junkyard find (a class 3 hitch, 11.35) anyway, I went to drop the spare to install it when I rewinched it up the cable snapped. I looked and noticed that the cable was all frayed so im glad it happened in my driveway. Anyway, I am going to head back to the junkyard to hopefully get a new spare tire winch but my question is is it hard to uninstall/install the tire winch? Im asking because it seems like it might be complicated. I searched through the site and saw it said to inspect the cable but not on how to install a new one. Any help would be great. thanks

Very easy, if I remember right its 3 bolts.

do you just access them from under the truck? I see a few bolts that looks like it makes sense. It looks like there is a guard there too. Does it all come off?

yeah from what I remember, its 3 bolts that hold it on, get them from the underside of the truck.. I believe they are 10mm.
