Spark plug confusion

Can someone pls clear up a confusioning point regarding plat +4 and regular plats. I was under the impression that the plat 4's were the greatest thing going.
I just recently read a post that claims that the plat 4's are all show and no better than regular plats? What gives? Where is the factual documentation stating that the plat 4's are not any better than the regular plats.

See that tread for explanation Dead Link Removed Actually it explain real good why it not worth the money, execept if you never (almost) want to change plug again. But then fresh plug always work better...
