Hi, new to the site & working on my ex somewhat...So I changed the plugs & wires on my ex yesterday (96 Sport w/ 4.0 pushrod & 104K miles), and I have to say I did not find the rear plug on the passenger side to be the worst (as it seems every thread I searched here indicates), the worst was by far the middle on the driver's side (cyl#5). It seems like everything is in the way right there to get a good angle with the wrench -- is the piping/valve alongside the engine there the EGR? Even threading it in was tough, though I didn't try the hose trick. I tried going through the well, but that did not seem to work -- probably because I did not jack her (one of two dumb moves I am aware of). Any tips on getting this one done?

Use a U-joint spark plug socket.... i have a 95 XLT .... i have the same probem

Thanks for the tip...
