Hello, First off, thanks to all who have answered my past question, the info has been helpful. Ok speaker upgrade is next. What is the difference between 2 way and 3 way speakers?? And what watt speaker do I need, the stock system is still in. In the future I will upgrade to amp and sub. Thanks again
two way speakers have the woofer cone and a tweeter.
three ways have an additional cone or dome tweeter. usually very small.
since you are using the stock sytem to power them, power isnt much of an issue. efficiency is more important. Kenwood Excelon 6X8s are pretty efficient and sound good with just the headunit's power. then when you upgrade, a small amp will make them sound even better. there are lots of good speakers out there. go listen at a local shop.
