Speaker Static

I just install these pioneers 6x8 200 watt 2 ways in the back last thursday. now for some reason occasionally the left rear one puts out static? what would cause this? did i put the wires backwards?

The problem could be a poor ground problem. Re check all the wiring.

assuming it's bad ground...how do i correct that?

Check all connections, check the continunity of the ground wires, checks for nicks,
