infinty's are good.. stock is 5x7

Stock size all around is 5X7/6X8. There the same size, just measured different. Any 5X7/6X8 speaker should fit.

Im assuming since your profile says you have an Alpine system, you have an Alpine HU, try going with Alpine speakers... In my expierence i have always seen good performance out of audio equipment when they are synchronized. (all one brand)

I'm running a Pioneer FH-P404 with Infinity Kappa 5x7s in all 4 doors... sounds great. However, speakers are all a personal thing... some people like Pioneer, some Infinity, some Boston Acoustics, and so on... Try demo sets from an audio store and see what ones you like...

actually check out car audio shops with demo cars. speakers sound much different inside a car with the cabin gain.

im thinking infinity. are alpine speakers better than kappa line?

cant really say better, just different. i would prefer infinity kappas, when it comes to full range speakers and components, infinity is one of the best. as far as headunits go alpine is one of the best. nobody is the best at everything. thats why at many car audio competitions, the people that win the most are the ones that diversify their system (example: Diamond Audio components, infinity full range, Orion amps, Audiobahn subwoofer, Eclipse dvd headunit, and santeca video monitors)
