Speed control surge

95 exp 4wd eb i noticed while using speed control the engine surges.can anyone tell me why it doesnt when not on speed control on flat road conditions
 






Your accelerator cable has stretched over the years of use.

There is a "slack adjustment" on the accelerator cable, where it ends & mounts near the throttle body.

Take up the slack to the point where there is almost none left.

Your CC should now operate more stable and without that surge.
