Hi,
I have a 96 EB explorer with the console on the floor showing mileage/fuel consumption etc. When the engine is started and I am sitting still, the system clicks off 10ths of miles... All other functions work properly. Calculations for mileage and fuel consuption are correct, but the elapsed miles odometer is way off. The in-dash odometer is correct. Being a programmer, I find it hard to believe that the computer that calculates this data is incorrect since all calcs are correct based upon the inputs received. Is there a separate sensor for the console ODO. I know it's a little thing, but once again, I'm a programmer, and it's driving me NUTS!!!
