Speedo Light/HVAC Unit Lights Randomly fade/stay on

Lately my Speedo lights have been fading, and they come on bright again. On my speedo, it is ONLY the right hand side of the Speedo light, no other gauge lights do this. Also, occasionally on my HVAC Controls, teh same thing will happen with the lights behind the buttons, but mostly the speedo. These are LED lights, and they are not burnt out, they just randomly dim/go black and come back on. Sometimes I never have a problem, sometimes it happens. Sometimes the speedo will go black and not come on the whole time Im driving, and sometimes everything works fine!?!

They could be just lose in the socket. Or something internaly wrong with your bulbs. The dimming my be caused by one or more LED going out. If I remeber correctly you used those wide angle LED with multiple bubls put together. Probably not much help.

thats craziness you remember that. Yea, I used wide-angle LEDs with multiple bulbs. How would that affect it?

it would affect it cuz one of those bulbs in the cluster could be flickering on and off, giving you a dimmed effect. If they are flickering you problaby have a bad bulb, and need to replace them.
