Hey guys I need help figuring this one out. My warning lights (tire pressure, emergency brake, high beam, open door) will randomly come on while driving. I have checked the sensors that I can to see if they were dirty and they were all fine. The other weird thing is my radio will randomly turn itself off for a couple seconds and then turn back on. It used to do both of these very rarely but the warning lights are coming on and off randomly every time I drive now. Do I just need a new harness or what?

Original battery? Have it tested and check ALL grounds. These trucks are known for intermittent gremlins when faulty. GL

yes original battery and alternator has been tested. I figure it has to been in the wiring, but not sure.

Well I'm getting no check charging and never have a problem starting.

run a load test with it out of the system. I bet she drops like a dead fly. Problem is with a bad battery it loads down your alternator and turns into a much more expensive repair then just swapping a battery.

Original Battery? Batteries typically last 3 years. Especially factory. We are just around the corner from 2014. Get that baby a new battery already. It probably is 7 years old just because it was probably built in 2006.
Sorry, but I'm shocked how old it is.
First thing I did when I received mine in May of 2012 was replace my battery.
Then my radiator, then my heater fan, and so on and so on.

Love my truck but something new every month.

Let me clarify to stop the confussion. It is orginal from when I bought the vehicle so its only a 3 year old battery. Sorry to throw everyone on a false trail. Still old but not super old and this problem was happening before as well.

I had a similar problem with my 08 model when I purchased it new. In my situation all of the warning lights came on, the speedo and tach began to fluctuate(like in some of the old scifi movies when a flying saucer got too close) and I would have only third gear. Ford finally found a loose connection on the right side of the console(a broken piece of plastic in between the connectors) which spiked everything with the computer. Everything settled down when the connectors were properly connected. They ended up having to replace the fuse panel after they located the issue with the connector.

oh................k. Sorry. Hope u get it fixed.:salute:
