My speedometer here recently works spuradically.I checked the sensor and wires to it they are all good. Does anyone know of a link or have any info on this problem.If you need anymore info just ask and I'll reply.

i have had the same issue, mine also is causing problems with the trans shifting while not working, its finally to the point of not working at all now. i have changed the sensor on my 96 4.0 on the t/c worked for a while then stopped again, it not the cluster, im thinking mine is a bad connector since i have had 3 t/c in this truck and pulled the sensor many times and wires are probably getting brittle or the wire is damaged in another location, not sure myself. so that is why i am on here searching for someone matching my problem description

Yeaaa you might have a broken probe connector pin on the connection.
