Spindles Work On 01 Sport

i was just wondering if the 3" spindles will work on the 01 sport because i havent seen anyones truck with them just people saying they were and never did. i didnt know maybe if they changed the brakes and them not being able to fit. thanks for any info .

someone has to know because im looking forward to go buy this stuff tomrw then it not working and loosing all my money

all i really need to know if the rotor is a 12" or 11.38 or what ever it is does anyone know

well noone responded so i called the ford dealership. i had seen a problem on the site with the sport trac not being able to use the spindles so i started wondering about my sport called the ford dealership they told me that the rotors are the same on the sport and sport trac and are diff from the reg. explorer will this be a problem or not with the spindles

Here's the scoop. 01+ Sports and Sport Tracs have larger rotors than 95-00 Explorers. I believe they are 1" bigger. I'm pretty sure that I heard on the ST board that you have to swap your rotors to 95-00 to run the spindles.

Yes, the O1+ Sports and Sport Trac's have larger Rotor's than all the other Explorer's. Here is my old tread explaining the difference...
