My O3 Sport Trac makes a wierd Clunk noise when turning left. It's been to the dealership 10 times now and we cant find anything wrong, it stopped for a while but I noticed its been doing it alot more when its wet out lately, I thought it was in the rear end, but in not sure anymore. It sound like something is snapping out of place almost and than goes back once i straighten it out.

:(-Shocks are good
-brakes are good
-had the rear diff looked at
-leaf springs were luded and tightend
- front left CV boot exploded but, they found no damage to the joint when replacing it.
-all suspension components were tightened.
-exhaust brackets and hangers weer looked at and are good.
-put a friction additive in the rear end for limited slip, but they said everything looked ok when the opened up the diff
- noticed the rear axle looks a about 1 inch or so of set to the left when looking at it from the rear of the truck. is that normal?

any ideas?

If the grease was all gone, then it's probably on its way to going out. They just replaced the boot? Did they tear down the joint to put a new boot one? Or is it some kind of split boot?

They had to pull it apart to get the new boot on, but it was making the truck was making that clunking noise even before it went. I was told the tires were scalloping but i don't know what that is supposed to mean?
