- 2004 sport trac
Good day. My names steve and for most of my life I have bled ford blue.
I have been building offroad rigs for years as well.
I just purchased a 2004 sport trac xlt full load. The engine is mixed out and the tranny is shot.
I would like to do a solid axle swap up front. So any ideas would help. Trying to build on a budget. Looking at 1 ton axles and at least 42 inch tall tires. . As for engine and tranny. I'd love to get as much power under the hood I can. But would like to keep the interior controls and options.
I am not a fan of the electronic tcase. So anything you have for ideas would help.
What type of leaf Springs to use up front or out back. As little fender cutting as possible. . How much lift will I need. Etc. Ty and look forward to hearing from you all
