have you tried looking at your Idle air control

I to have the same issue. It takes a few times of starting and putting it in drive before it will stay running. I have changed the iac, pcv valve and lines, egr valve, egr pressure regulator fuel filter. (All oem parts) Still stalles when coming to a stop. It is so infrequent it’s hard to remember how I was able to get it going again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 01 st 160k

If the Torque Converter Clutch is stuck engaged, the engine will stall as soon as the selector lever is put in any gear position. If solenoid trouble is intermittent, the TCC may only be failing to disengage while driving, in which case the engine will stall as the vehicle is brought to a stop.

Check for code(s) indicating TCC Solenoid faults. Depending on transmission type, solenoids may be individually replaceable. imp

Thank you for the info, however there are no codes to be read.

Mine would stall at traffic light as if the torque convertor was locked. Turned out to be a bad tcc solenoid. Easy fix.
