Update-------
For anyone who has an engine that has spun its upper timing gear-----
I could not for the life of me get the camshaft pulley bolt out even with an impact wrench. At wit's end, I made a decision to get that bolt off-no matter what. I placed lots of clean rags in the oil pan opening below and carefully cut off a slice of the mushroom shaped bolt. The piece I cut off was the size and ship of a woodruff key. I than used a heavy chisel and hammer to hit the new flat side and spin the bolt out. The problem was that the gear's locating tooth ahd broken and the gear spun itself onto the camshaft with a billion ft. lbs. of torque. I carefully removed the tooth and washed off any traces of metal with WD. I plan on flushing the pan to be extra safe.
A strange occurance- maybe this can help someone else.
