Anyone experiencing a squeaky gas pedal I already tried spraying some wd-40 where it pivots but it hasn't helped. Somewhere i read that there was a TSB for it but couldn't find it. It usually happens the most when its cold outside but still can make the noise when its warm out

is it the the pedal or the throttle body thats sqeeking? TWO very simple solutions... if its just the pedal.

1: White lithium grease (Spray or solid type)
2: Replace the pedal (cant be that expensive...)

Thanks, its the pedal not the throttle body its not really the noise that bothers me its just that whenever it makes the noise you can actually feel it which is very annoying. I will probably end up replacing the pedal.

Do you have the adjustable pedals?

If so, the pedal assembly is far from cheap (and more likely to squeak).

I would go with the grease over the WD-40. At least try it before replacing anything.

Maybe Crisco would work.

I do not have the adjustable pedals and I tried lithium grease all it did was make it look really bad so I'm probably going to end up replacing the pedal.
