Squeaky noise when turing steering wheel

ok sometimes when i turn the steering wheel makes a annoying squeaking noise. First thought was power steering. Its full and fine. I think i might of hit it real hard. Its definitely coming from the steering wheel itself.It is also very random. Does something need lubricating in the steering wheel? Has anyone had this problem before?

flush the powersteering pump. do search - lots of info.

I think there was a recall on the PS lines on the early SOHC engines. Might want to check into that too.

Thanks guys i will check into those options. It really sounds like it is coming from the steering wheel itself though. Dunno i will check into it
