I used to be able to wiggle this connector around a little and make the SRS (airbag light) go off after restarting the engine. Now it looks like no matter how many times I wiggle it around the light will not go off. Anyone know which part of this connector is where the faulty contact normally exists? I want my airbag system to work at all times!

Thanks all! :usa:

One time I had the wire get caught in the seat track. This caused it to ground out. Check the wire to see if when you were wiggling it that you weren't just ungrounding it.

also disconnect it and take a look at the terminals. when i had this problem i had a load of dust in there and under the dust there was some green corrosion on the terminals. cleaned it all up no light since

Awesome feedback thanks guys!!!

I think my situation is the one that dmac highlighted. Pure terminal dust!
