SRS light on after swapping seats

OCS sensors that mguy13 eluded to are probably the issue. You can swap them from the old seats to the new, or you can update the RCM module with Forscan to the correct info from the donor vehicle of the seats more than likely.

Keep in mind that the entire airbag system itself may not be operational with the waring ON.

Thanks Peter, I appreciate the advise and since the airbag system will not deploy in case of an accident and I just used old seat with the new skin as that was the quickest way around it

Yes, the new seats are heated and cooled and they have power. The original Driver seats only had power but the passenger seats did not have any of those options

Did you notice if the controls worked 'backwards' and did you get the heated seats working? swapping now 2016 pui seats from 2017 explorer
