Does anybody happen to know the stall speed from the factory on the 1st Gen Explorers' Torque Convertor? Thanks.

Thanks from me too:D

This X is the first auto I have ever owned. All my other cars have been five speeds. I had my tranny rebuilt when I bought it because it would not shift into OD. I always wonder why the engine rev'ed so high before it really started moving. Althogh I think I am not getting WOT when it is floored. I think I need to do the cable mod or something, any ideas?

The RangePloder is the first automatic I have owned too. It will be interesting how an auto holds up to my driving :D

I haven't done the cable mod so I don't know much about that. Get a stick or something and push the pedal to the floor. Then take off the intake hose and look at the TB. See if the plate is all the way open.

Thanks I will give it a try, I think when the engine was rebuilt they did not do the throttle cable right.
