stalling when stoped

the other day my x stalled on me after driving it for an hour on the highway.... i had gotten on the off ramp and was stoped at the light....all of a sudden the x stalled on me....everything under the hood seems to be in order no loose wires or anything like that...i sould also mention there is no check engine or battery light and i quickly cleaned my IAC about two months ago.....What do you guys think is it my IAC or i read on some other posts that it could be that the PCM has to be reprogrammed?...i want to get a good idea on what the problem is before i buy a $70 IAC
