I have an 05 ranger with a 2.3L duratec - its manual and a great truck... The only issue i have with it, is that when you first start it up when the engine is cold (even if its relatively warm outside), it take a couple seconds to get it to idle properly... Not really good with how to describe it, so I made a video yesterday - and you can somewhat see it.. After you get it idling normally its fine, and doesn't do it again... (til the engine is cold or after sitting several hours or over night)..
Sort of like a carbed engine almost when it fires up... the vid isn't the best but maybe you can see what i'm talking about...
