so yeah i have a 95 explorer xlt & i had to replace the starter so when i got to it i saw that one of the bolts had fallen out & thats what probly caused the starer to die out (before it died out my locks kept unlocking & locking randomly & rapeadly) the stock screw had fallen out & the other one was a screw with 2 bolts with washers obviuosly the previous owner had made so i bought the stcock bolts for it & now 4 months latter same thing happend only one bolt is on & my starter is berly hanging on i was thinking maybe the holes to the housing got screwed up reason the previous owner had made his own bolt now it has me thinking should i just make mine the way the privous owner had his but this time on both & was wondering if this has happend to anyone & if so please let me know whats the best way to go with this

If you have a tap set get the appropriate tap and run it into the bolt holes. If all goes well there use some loctite.
