Ok A few days ago I tried to start my Explorer it sounded odd, its ideling was not constant, it did that for about a minute then it died... if I turn it over again it wont start, I have to wait a wile if I want the engine to run. but like i said it dosnt stay on log enough to drive anywere.

I also noticed that the Idle air control valve looks differnt then whats in the Hanes Ford Manuel, also I noticed it looked differnt on a nother website... it dosent look aftermarket, but mabey ford changed there setup

I checked the Air Intake, Oil, fuel... no change. my battery seems to be good ok.

So can someone help me? Is it the IAC or somthing else?

05 does not have iac, it uses electronic throttle body. Try cleaning the throttle body first and recheck.

Ok do you have any tips for the throttle body? im not to familier with that?

sounds more like a fuel delivery problem (filter? pressure?)
