on my 94 exp. would not start for 2 days, thought it might be fuel pump but didnt even try to start when spraying with starter fluid. was going to tow to the shop tried to start it again and it started and ran great, so i replaced the ignition module anyway. 2 days later no start, so what else should i check, is there a cam sensor or something, what else is related giving me an intermittent start. when this happens it seems i have no spark because starter fluid has no effect. when it decides to start it starts like there is no problem at all.

1st thing I'd probably do would be to pull codes. Some no starts will leave clues in the computer's memory.

Be sure to check ICM and PCM power and ground. I seem to recall one guy who came on here with a no start and it ended up being a bad ICM ground. Since the entire engine management system (including ICM, injectors, and fuel pump) are tied into the EEC relay, you want to make sure that relay is closing (does the CEL come on KOEO?).
