Steering column shifter issue....one bad week

hi all haven't been on the board in quite a while but need serious help...
first my column shifter on my 96 explorer has broken....the very end where the cable attaches has cracked in half and the shifter is now not goin to park and i can luckily get it into drive and into reverse and also neutral.....
i cannot find a place to buy the replacement setup as i see this guy was selling last year....

and to top it off after a long weekend in hunter mountain ny in about 6 feet of snow my truck is now dead and in some random shop far away......what a day and week:(

First post on that page 4 - if yours look like that (the top piece is broken), you need to contact "Sweden Bob" who is also on that thread. He is a machinist from Sweden that makes a replacement part for the one that breaks. Saves a 1200 steering column replacement from Ford.

i seen that post but the 96 looks nothing like that its a completly different looking setup
